The virtues of donations are great because it helps the needy and at the same time it gives an opportunity to the donor to give the surplus to the people in need. It helps the needy to sustain himself. -- Sam Veda

PATHASISU UNNAYAN (Street Kids Benificial) PROJECT:

The PATHASISU UNNAYAN Project provides educational support, food, cloths, and medical treatment for the poor children and lactating mothers who live on the street. This Project runs at Sealdah and Dumdum Junction Railway Stations (railway stations are common places for street people to live). During this program we clean the children, supply a breakfast, and give basic education to each of them. In addition we try to vary their experiences through drawing, games, exercise etc. We also provide cloths to these needy kids during certain times of the year.
As some volunteers work with the children, others with medical training provide free medical treatment (wound care) to all the station dwellers regardless of ages. The street people wait for wound care help as many of them have no other means of getting any kind of medical support. In some situations Crawl also fills prescriptions for the street women and children.
